TWD 4×4 now supplies and installs Outback Armour GVM upgrade packages for the LC79 range, including single cab and dual cab, so your build has the payload to match the way you actually use it.
More legal capacity. Better control. The Cruiser still feels like a Cruiser.
GVM Upgrade Options
3800kg GVM Upgrade – 79 Series – Perfect for utes doing double duty as workhorse and weekender:
- Alloy or steel trays, light canopies or toolboxes
- Barwork, winch, basic drawers and recovery gear
- Regular towing without constantly hovering near the factory limit
4200kg GVM Upgrade – 79 Series – Built for rigs that are permanently heavy:
- Big steel canopies or service bodies
- Long-range tanks, dual spares, full drawer and fridge setups
- Serious touring or trade builds with constant payload and regular towing
Both packages are designed to boost payload, stability and braking performance when the 79 is loaded and working hard.
Shock Packages
- Digressive Shocks- Tuned for long-distance comfort and durability. Ideal for touring utes, mine/site vehicles and high-kilometre work rigs. Keeps the 79 calm and predictable on corrugations, station tracks and rough access roads
- Adjustable Bypass Shocks – 20+ external adjustment stages, Quickly dial in firmness for empty tray, loaded canopy or towing a van. Perfect for builds that swap between daily duties, big trips and low-range weekends.
