Customer Goals

The V6 Next Gen Raptor was without a doubt the most highly anticipated vehicle release for TWD 4×4 customers across Australia since our inception.

You can’t truly own the title of Australia’s “Ford Factory” without being on the Next Gen Raptor waitlist. So, true to form, Perth HQ was one of the first to receive the new Raptor in WA.

Customer Wants

It wasn’t long before we got stuck into some R&D on behalf of our exclusive 4×4 accessories partners HAMER, Option 4WD, Profender Suspension and VIKOR INDUSTRIES.

As with most new vehicle releases, we played a supporting role in the design, development and fitment of the front bars for HAMER and Option 4WD. With a huge list of customers eagerly waiting the release of a front bar, there was no time to waste in tackling the new boxy front end, which now came with sensors, a camera and tech pack.

From there, all of the other Next Gen Raptor accessories flowed, with levelling kits, electric roller shutters and side steps, sports bars, bed racks and underbody protection quickly coming online for install at our stores across Australia
